Job Description:
Framecore Capital is seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our expanding team in Kampala, Uganda. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or individual with limited experience to develop their skills in financial analysis and contribute to a growing financial services firm in the region.
Responsibilities:
- Assist senior analysts in building and maintaining financial models.
- Gather, organize, and analyze financial data from various sources.
- Prepare basic financial reports, charts, and presentations.
- Conduct preliminary research on companies, industries, and market trends.
- Assist in the due diligence process for potential investments and lending opportunities.
- Support the preparation of investment memos and credit proposals.
- Maintain data accuracy and integrity in financial databases.
- Provide administrative and analytical support to the finance team.
- Learn and apply financial analysis techniques and best practices.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong academic record.
- Basic understanding of financial principles and concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a team.
- A strong interest in the financial services industry.
- Must be eligible to work in Uganda.
